Perfect for rock and metal. Smooth, relaxing tuning, great bass with good slam, rich mid-range, safe treble. Upper mids may be too relaxed for some, treble is a bit dark.

Could use more bass but other than that, probably the best tunning of all the planars I've heard for my preferences. Resolving power is not on the same level as its competition but it has better imaging chops. Great price to performance.
