A very pleasing Colorization, but not exactly what I love.
Youtube Video Summary

Build and accessories are a clear win: a sturdy, comfortable, slightly translucent shell with MMCX connectors, a plush 8-wire cable terminating in 4.4 mm, and a premium magnetic case. As a 10-BA set around $1,000, it wears a tasteful black-and-silver faceplate and seals well without pressure issues. There’s a bass switch that nudges mid-bass upward; useful for taste, but not essential.

Sonically it’s a warm-tilted, cohesive presentation: male vocals come through full and rich, female vocals can sound a touch husky, and the mids avoid shout. Treble is clean and pleasant with a bit of 5–6 kHz energy that stays in check; overall clarity is good, though there’s slight hiss and the mid-bass can feel a little loose/flabby rather than tight. Stage and detail are solid, making this arguably one of FiiO’s better efforts, but the value is mixed—graded a strong A4 / S-: recommended if it suits the tonality, yet tough at retail amid fierce competitors; far more compelling on the used market or after a thorough demo.

The performance feels robust, with satisfying punch and natural transitions. Nuances are easy to follow.
Soundstage A+
It crafts a floating sphere of sound where directional cues shimmer with precision. Layering remains stable even when pushed.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

E+
  • Balance is severely off, producing a harsh, unpleasant listen regardless of genre. Long sessions quickly become exhausting.

Average Technical Grade

E+
  • Instrument separation collapses instantly, burying nuances and leaving everything in a gray blur. Layered arrangements collapse into a messy haze.
Bass E+
Low-end weight is lacking, making the presentation feel undernourished. Warm recordings turn surprisingly brittle.
Mids E+
The mids come across papery and weak, draining warmth from the mix. Acoustic tracks sound brittle and distant.
Treble E+
Treble leans dark, softening cymbals and trimming extension. Brightness is replaced with a murky haze.
Dynamics E+
Subtle shifts disappear, with transients lacking bite or urgency. Drum hits arrive without conviction.
Details E+
Secondary lines struggle to stand apart because resolution can't parse their subtleties. Textures feel monotone and dull.
Imaging E+
Listening becomes fatiguing when instruments refuse to remain anchored. It becomes tiring to follow the mix.
Gaming E
Compromised imaging significantly impacts gameplay awareness. Directional cues often lack accuracy or consistency. Bad value-to-cost for gaming purpose - not recommended
