Great set for jazz/blues/soul/acoustic. Thick and lush. Warm but with nice treble extension. Solid tech. Vocals can be overly husky and buried in busier songs.

One of the most solid all-rounders I've tried. Great bass, great mids, good treble extension. Very natural sounding. The only con I can think of is the bright red shells (my KL has the black shells)? Edit: While I do highly recommend this set, there are QC concerns that can't be ignored - the DD driver seems to be prone to driver flex and dying out of the blue. Previously Owned

Comment: My favourite out of the EJ lineup. Excellent tonal balance, engaging midrange and somewhat pronounced treble Driver flex is annoying though

Less sub, a hair more mid-bass 07m but well done. Keeps the techs and the other frequencies, adding warmth and bones to the mids and better clarity/coherency. I prefer it to stock 07m by a hair, but 07m sub-bass is better.
