One of the best bass response you'll find under $500, but with too much upper-midrange and treble.

Sony MH755 reviewed by Audionotions

Audionotions 3 Reviewer Score
Very fun tuning and sound for something that cost $6. Unfortunately build quality is among the worst. Shell comes apart when removing from ears. Impossible to find authentic units these days.

Everything but bass falls short. You get what you pay for, but nonetheless, very good for price. Ghetto short cable.

Average Tunign Grade

C
  • It struggles with balance, producing a lumpy response that rarely sounds coherent. Genre hopping highlights glaring inconsistencies.

Average Technical Grade

D+
  • Resolution is limited, masking finer nuances and narrowing the soundstage. Busy mixes still overwhelm it with ease.
Bass C-
Bass stays subdued, content to hover in the background. It keeps things tidy, yet unremarkable.
Mids D+
The region feels unstable, alternating between honky resonance and missing information. You'll hear odd resonances across the mids.
Treble D
Treble response is uneven, jumping between dull spots and sharp peaks. Peaks poke out unpredictably.
Dynamics C-
It maintains a steady dynamic profile that neither offends nor inspires. Swells arrive but lack drama.
Details D-
Secondary lines struggle to stand apart because resolution can't parse their subtleties. Textures feel monotone and dull.
Imaging D-
Layering blurs because positional cues can't stay locked in place. Layering suffers from constant smearing.
Gaming D+
Compromised imaging significantly impacts gameplay awareness. Directional cues often lack accuracy or consistency.
