Smooth and relaxing done well. Very, very pleasant, mid-focused tonality. The vocals are very good, as you'd expect of something that Timmy concocted. One can definitely hear the treble roll-off, and it makes things like percussion lose that last bit of refinement, but when you're in the mood to do nothing but relax and enjoy the music, that doesn't matter as much. Surprisingly good dynamics and transients for the price point and decently wide stage. Easy to get into, gets an easy recommendation from me.

Comment: A poor man's Diva with worse technicalities and less extension. Solid tuning, balanced throughout with slight emphasis on female vocals Treble rolls off prematurely

Clean and neutral signature with empahsis in the midrange. Best vocals before Orch Lite $100-->Replaced by DZ4.

Quite inoffensive but smoothed-over. Needs more resolution and sense of dynamics.

Great tuning that follows along my preferences, but falls short in the last field of the treble region. A great value overall.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

B-
  • A mostly enjoyable signature keeps things listenable despite a handful of quirks. It handles most playlists without major complaints.

Average Technical Grade

C+
  • An honest, middle-of-the-road performance preserves structure without chasing micro-detail. It's respectable for everyday listening sessions.
Bass C
Expect a conservative bass profile that maintains order but little excitement. Basslines track along but rarely stand out.
Mids B-
The mids are solid and dependable, though not especially remarkable. Vocals stay reasonably grounded in the mix.
Treble C+
Expect a polite treble presentation that balances presence with restraint. Percussion carries a pleasant sparkle.
Dynamics C-
The system delivers passable punch but never surprises. Punch is modest rather than exciting.
Soundstage B-
It pushes sound outward confidently while leaving height development as an unfinished idea. Height remains subtle but detectable.
Details C
You get the outline of textures, though the finer brushstrokes remain faint. Background information is audible but soft.
Imaging C
Separation is good enough for casual listening yet misses audiophile precision. Depth remains limited but present.
Gaming C+
Fundamental left/right positioning with limited depth perception. Works for non-competitive gaming but lacks precision.
