Slightly bright, clean sound, very airy, sweet vocals. Great separation and resolution. Reminds me of the OG Orcales. Follows Harman 2019 but with more air. Needs more low-end, not an all-rounder. Not rec for hiphop, kpop, rock. Very good for indie, ballads, classical and acoustics.

Bright Neutral. Slightly thinness and brittleness. Bass lacks authority. It's a bit fluffly sounding with a softer attack. There is a noticeable lack of mid/upper bass which shifts the tonal balance towards vocals. Vocals sound good. Treble is a bit shimmery. It's a fine IEM but at the price, there are many others that outperform.

Weakest point is the slightly thin midbass to lower midrange, makes up for it in the midrange clarity and treble smoothness

A Tuning
B Tech
Vocal-focused tribrid with polite treble and a subtle bone-conduction effect; enjoyable tuning but not the most technical around $200. Keep volume moderate to retain natural timbre. Well-judged vocal-centric tuning with restrained treble and fast, tidy bass. Average technicalities and stage projection; bone conduction effect is subtle and can sound less natural at higher volumes.
Youtube Video Summary

The Apevoix Grit presents a $200 tribrid recipe (1DD + 4BA + bone conduction) inside a semi-smoked carbon-fiber shell and leans toward a safe, neutral-ish balance. Sub-bass is trimmed, mid-bass gets a light lift, and the curve sits a touch under a Harman-like rise, keeping brightness in check. As a package it sounds nice and enjoyable, knocking on the door of the competitive $200 hybrid pack without chasing maximum sparkle or air.

The bone conduction implementation is subtle on this tuning; with four armatures already filling the mids, its effect tends to blend rather than spotlight vocals. At higher volumes the BC contribution can step out and timbre becomes less natural, and insertion can bring minor pressure build-up and the usual BC oddities when tapping the shell. Kept at moderate levels, the presentation stays coherent and smoother.

Bass is quick and tidy, prioritizing cleanliness over slam, which suits the Grit's vocal emphasis. Midrange shows thoughtful finesse: slight mid-bass body for males, a restrained climb into ear-gain, and energy placed before and after to avoid shout. Treble dips around ~5 kHz and rolls earlier up top, keeping most cymbal glare below the vocals; this favors treble-sensitive listeners but trades away air and micro-detail. Stage does not feel small, yet projection is modest for the class, reinforcing the verdict: a tastefully tuned vocal hybrid that values comfort over raw technical fireworks.

Bassy, yet vocal forward tuning with subdued treble. Bone Conduction is more subtle, while still having the tonal affectation and buzzy, springy sounds of other, cheaper BC IEMs. Accessories are dissapointing.
