Ultra high end neutral with sub bass boost monitor delivering phenomenal BA bass, smooth yet highly detailed mids and treble, and technical performance that challenges endgame peers. Minor drawbacks are the uncommon Pentaconn connectors and slightly lean mid bass. Reference grade neutral tuning with outstanding BA bass, natural mids and treble, and top tier soundstage, detail and imaging. Large shells and uncommon Pentaconn connectors can limit fit and cable rolling, and some listeners may wish for slightly more mid bass warmth.
Youtube Video Summary

The Elysian Acoustic Labs Diva 2023 is a six balanced armature flagship with a three way sub bass switch that turns this monitor into one of the most engaging yet controlled takes on a neutral tuning at its price. The resin shells are on the larger side but shaped very well, giving a secure and comfortable fit for many ears, and the black faceplate with hexagon glitter looks stunning when the light hits it. The bundled Effect Audio Ares S cable feels premium and includes a modular termination system for 3.5, 2.5 and 4.4 outputs, although the use of Pentaconn connectors on the earphone side means cable rolling is less convenient for anyone without compatible cables.

With the switch in the center position the Diva 2023 presents as a neutral with a sub bass boost tuning that offers a generous seven decibel lift down low while keeping the mid bass in check, resulting in zero bass bleed and an extremely clean transition into the midrange. Sub bass extension and rumble are excellent in all three switch positions, and the bass combines uncommon dynamic impact for a balanced armature design with the speed and texture that define the best BA implementations, creating a very natural, impactful and immersive foundation even if a touch more mid bass weight could add a little extra richness. The midrange is the star of the show, with vocals and instruments rendered with a very natural timbre, front and center focus, and an impressive level of texture and detail, all while maintaining a smooth, non fatiguing presentation that allows long listening sessions at healthy volumes. Treble follows the same pattern, staying detailed, natural and smooth, with cymbals and higher strings among the most realistic in this segment and very good extension past 10 kilohertz that brings air, shimmer and micro detail without harshness.

Technical performance is where the Diva 2023 truly feels special, coming very close to the most detailed in ear monitors previously heard while matching or surpassing many other endgame level sets in overall capability. The soundstage is about as wide as anything in its class, with strong forward depth, excellent instrument layering and precise imaging that locks vocals and instruments firmly in place, supported by punchy macrodynamics and a wealth of micro nuances revealed across genres. Taken together the tuning versatility of the bass switch, the combination of dynamic slam and BA speed, the natural mids and treble, and the spacious stage result in an endgame level enjoyment factor that makes the Diva 2023 feel worth every penny for listeners who prioritize vocal and instrument presentation and who want a high end neutral set that can still deliver serious fun when the bass switch is pushed.

Elysian Diva 2023 is a high end 6 BA flagship with magical midrange, smooth yet detailed treble and a wide immersive stage that stays very forgiving even with harsh recordings. Only slightly light mid bass for bass heavy genres and the niche Pentagon connector keep it from feeling absolutely perfect. Exceptional vocal focused tuning with natural mids, refined non fatiguing treble, high quality BA bass, wide immersive stage and a very forgiving yet still highly detailed presentation. Mid bass could use a few decibels more for bass heavy genres, the Pentagon connector limits easy cable rolling and the price keeps it firmly in the top tier bracket.
Youtube Video Summary

Elysian Diva 2023 is a 6 BA high end in ear that mixes luxurious design with thoughtful ergonomics, featuring a stunning shell finish, a high quality Effect Audio cable and the Pentagon connector that feels solid and easy to use. The unboxing brings a premium case, basic accessories and a tiny screwdriver for the tuning switch, which offers blue, white and red positions for more or less bass. In practice the white switch delivers the most balanced presentation, with a neutral to slightly mid centric tonality that already shows the strong focus on vocal magic and natural timbre.

With the white setting the bass is one of the most impressive BA implementations around, fast, clean and highly textured with real sub bass rumble that can surprise on heavier tracks while keeping mid bass tight. Slam is a little lighter than on big dynamic driver sets, and an extra couple of decibels of mid bass would help for hip hop, K pop or J pop, but quality, control and dynamics are top notch and the low end can easily be mistaken for a well tuned dynamic driver. The midrange is the clear star, delivering hyper natural, smooth and highly detailed vocals that resist harshness even on very sibilant test tracks, which makes Diva 2023 a rare combination of extreme resolution and long term listening comfort.

The treble extends with plenty of air, shimmer and clarity while staying free of glare, so even rough recordings, podcasts or movies with sudden loud moments remain enjoyable rather than fatiguing. Detail retrieval and overall technical performance are easily above most sub kilobuck competitors, beating popular sets like Monarch series in micro detail, imaging accuracy and an enveloping soundstage that feels wide, deep and immersive enough to forget the outside world, even if there are slightly more analytical flagships such as Dunu Glacier or Annihilator that push detail a step further. Compared to Elysian Pilgrim and SA6, Diva 2023 keeps a very similar tonality but raises the game in resolution, separation and realism, acting as a forgiving yet highly resolving daily driver with some of the best vocals heard in an in ear monitor.

One of the best IEMs for vocals. Dynamic driver-like bass, natural vocal reproduction, and an incredibly smooth tonality. Could use a bit more mid-bass for my taste.

BGVP Solomon packs 9 drivers—2 DD, 3 BA, 2 EST, and 2 BCD—into a bold, energetic tuning. Bass is moderate in quantity but tight, fast, and clean, focusing on speed over slam. No bleed, no extra warmth—just crisp transients and neutrality.

Mids are natural and slightly forward, giving vocals clarity and presence without harshness. Treble is lively and detailed, with a 5 kHz rise adding sparkle and air. The EST drivers keep everything smooth, extending beautifully into the upper highs for that “halo” sense of openness.

Soundstage is grand and spacious, with solid layering and natural instrument spread.

Verdict: Solomon delivers a vivid, airy, and technically refined sound—lean in warmth but rich in detail. A crisp, holographic performer that clearly punches above its price.

A+ Tuning
S- Tech

The BGVP Solomon is a quad-brid IEM with a complex 2DD+3BA+2EST+2BCD driver array, low 7.3 Ω impedance, and 110.8 dB sensitivity, indicating easy drivability but potential source-noise audibility. Build and accessories are upscale, including BGVP’s Temple cable in many packages and an extensive tip set, positioning the product squarely in the upper-tier segment at an MSRP of $1,299 . The spec sheet and pricing from multiple retailers corroborate the above configuration and target market, making it competitive with other premium hybrids rather than mid-priced options .

Sonically, the Solomon presents a refined, mildly W-shaped balance: a clean, controlled bass shelf, transparent mids, and energetic, well-extended treble. Independent evaluations describe a neutral-leaning low end and forward upper-mids, with treble clarity that can approach brightness depending on tips and chain—consistent with a detail-first presentation rather than a warm, lush one . This tuning delivers strong resolution and incisive note edges, but listeners sensitive to upper-treble energy may prefer narrower-bore or vocal tips to moderate brightness .

Technical performance is a clear strength: stage size is expansive with notable depth, and imaging is precise, aided by the bone-conduction implementation that adds tactility without smearing transients. Separation and layering remain intact on dense passages, aligning with reports that the Solomon handles complex material with ease; however, at this price its value hinges on the listener prioritizing treble openness and microdetail over mid-bass warmth or romantic mids .
