Youtube Channel

Audio-In-Reviews is run by a long-time audio enthusiast and working musician with roots in car audio, home audio, and professional sound. His introduction to in-ear monitors came on stage as a drummer, where he cycled through many sets before discovering Chi-Fi IEMs that worked both for monitoring and home listening. That discovery sparked a deeper dive into IEMs and headphones which eventually led him to start the Audio-In YouTube channel in 2020, during the pandemic, as a way to share his knowledge and his love of music.

His review style emphasizes careful, long-term listening and steadily improving production quality rather than rapid output. He typically spends one to two weeks living with gear and then several days filming and editing, using detailed outlines, plenty of b-roll, and thoughtful lighting to keep the focus on the products rather than just “table shots.” Audio-In-Reviews isn’t trying to compete on volume of content; instead, the channel aims to offer measured, well-structured impressions from someone who actively uses IEMs as both a musician and an everyday listener.

Audio-In-Reviews does not use a numeric scale; the scores/grades shown are IEMRanking’s interpretation of the review. This ranking list is not official.

  • Audio-In Reviews: Solid $69 single dynamic with an adjustable bass dial that works best in Atmosphere mode, offering balanced, slightly warm sound with impactful bass and clean mids. Not the most natural or technical...  Comfortable metal shells with adjustable bass dial, balanced and non fatiguing Atmosphere tuning, and technical performance that keeps up with most sub 100 dollar competitors.  Sub bass remains somewhat rolled off in most modes, tonality is a bit less natural than some rivals, treble can sound slightly dark, and bass speed and texture are only average.

Tin T5s MARS

  • Audio-In Reviews: Neutral-leaning tuning with excellent sub-bass and dynamics, but a very safe treble and average technicalities keep it from matching the best $100 sets.  Excellent sub-bass focused bass with great dynamics, natural-leaning neutral tuning and very good comfort, build and accessories for the price.  Treble is too safe with limited air and detail, average technicalities and it still falls short of stronger competitors like Galileo, Kima Classic and Aria 2.

Moondrop Quarks 2
