Is the hype justified? I personally own a Que. I think yes, it sounds much more expensive as $400.

How is it better than what you've listened to at this price range?

The bass has a lot of presence and punch while still having a reasonable quantity — it's a fun and engaging listen despite leaning more toward the neutral side. This is rarely found in this price range.
The mids and upper mids are not 100% on the neutral side, but have some very tasteful colorations, clearly inspired by some Elysian IEMs (Apostle, Annihilator). Mega5EST and Rockies have a more natural midrange with more micro-details. The Que puts vocals a bit more to the front and adds some thickness to the lower mids as well. This is probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I really like it that way.
Despite having no EST drivers, the treble is the star of the show. It really illuminates the sound signature without being too much, with some tasteful peaks making the tonality sparkly and interesting.
Overall the whole sound has some sharpness, but in a more tasteful way - which I really like.
That said, the IEM is tastefully tuned yet still retains a high level of accuracy, something usually found at higher price levels. Usually, around $400, IEMs can have an exciting/engaging tuning but sacrifice some accuracy/details, or they can be more on the neutral/accurate side but tend to be a bit of a boring listen.
wow, thank you for the super detailed impression Sounds promising to me (I like both the Diva and mega5est vocals!).
