It's a step down from U12T in techs, yes, but it's still competitive in the price range. In exchange, tonality and timbre are much improved, which, IMO, is much more important. Imaging, separation, resolution, stage, and dynamics are excellent. Bass is deep and very well textured. Mids have great body. Treble is detailed and extended with great air while never being sibilant or harsh. Really easy to pop on and get lost in the music with. Warm and gooey in the best way possible. Lush, rich, soulful.

Warm, thick, and with excellent dynamics. U12t's tubby younger brother that could use more resolution.
