Comment: Treble tuning is one of the best up to $200 range. Neutral bright decently tuned, decent soundstage, surprising treble tuning Limp bass with zero texture, might be too bright for some

Sounds like vocalists are asphyxiating. Very thin note-weight.

Budget tech king due to neutral bright tuning. Needs and loves power. My favourite sub-50 set so far. Might come out as shouty/hot. Responds well to EQ and Moding. Beaten by CRA(bassy) and Titan S for my library.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

D+
  • Tonality remains inconsistent, with uneven peaks and dips that disrupt musical flow. You'll constantly notice peaks or dips pulling focus.

Average Technical Grade

C-
  • Even moderate complexity exposes the limited resolution and narrow sense of space. Technical fans will find it lacking.
Bass D
The bass sits quietly in the background, providing only faint support. Live recordings lose their stage thump.
Mids D+
Midrange is highly uneven, veering between shouty peaks and hollow dips. Tonality swings between shouty and withdrawn.
Treble D+
Highs feel erratic, with dips and spikes that make the signature unpredictable. It alternates between splashy and dull.
Dynamics D
Volume shifts feel constrained, so build-ups plateau before releasing. Build-ups plateau before resolving.
Soundstage B-
Decent spatial presentation with noticeable width and a modest step forward in depth perception. There's a mild sense of width to enjoy.
Details C-
Average resolution that reveals the basics while missing many of the subtleties. It reveals enough to stay engaging.
Imaging C-
Center information lands in the right area but not with laser focus. Separation is adequate for casual listening.
Gaming C-
Minimal environmental definition provides only general audio cues. Suitable for games where positioning isn't critical.
