Comment: The only saving grace is the bearable tonality and bass for bassheads. Bass bloat with recessed, messy midrange

Abysmal fit and I couldn't actually listen to them without having to press them into my ears to seal. I'm sure they sound fine. YMMV.

Timbre benchmark. Fit is awful. Sounds a bit veiled and mids are below average for the price. Dethroned by Mele, even tho it has better timbre and treble extension. Remove the grill for better sound.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

C
  • The tuning lacks refinement, jumping between dull and shouty without settling. Vocals frequently sound off-kilter.

Average Technical Grade

C-
  • The tuning renders a cramped window into the music, with nuance fading fast. Expect grainy textures to creep in.
Bass C-
Expect a conservative bass profile that maintains order but little excitement. Basslines track along but rarely stand out.
Mids C-
It delivers a workable midrange that could benefit from smoother transitions. Timbre isn't quite convincing yet.
Treble D+
The upper range behaves inconsistently, blending dullness with sudden glare. You'll notice sharp spikes alongside dips.
Dynamics C-
It maintains a steady dynamic profile that neither offends nor inspires. Swells arrive but lack drama.
Soundstage C+
You start to perceive distinct rows of players even if the ceiling still feels low. Layering is present but still modest.
Details D+
It can follow the main lines but loses composure once arrangements become busy. Fine articulation is frequently glossed over.
Imaging D+
Modest imaging with basic left/right positioning that never quite nails the center image. Left/right cues exist but are rough.
Gaming C-
Minimal environmental definition provides only general audio cues. Suitable for games where positioning isn't critical.
