Comment: It's literally $20, recommended to buy when starting out or as a beater set. Probably the most balanced sounding at its price Average tech like its other counterparts, bass is less controlled

Basically the modded Zero with slight more bass. Most vocal forward out of the $20 sets.

Solid tuning that could use more extension in the upper region, but a very solid pick for its price.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

B-
  • It sounds pleasant overall, with some uneven spots that hint at room for refinement. Vocals remain pleasant despite the imperfections.

Average Technical Grade

C
  • Even moderate complexity exposes the limited resolution and narrow sense of space. Technical fans will find it lacking.
Bass C+
It delivers adequate punch and texture, though nothing stands out. Sub-bass presence is hinted rather than delivered.
Mids B-
The mids are solid and dependable, though not especially remarkable. Vocals stay reasonably grounded in the mix.
Treble C
The top end sounds acceptable but lacks the smoothness of higher tiers. Air is hinted at more than delivered.
Dynamics E+
Dynamic range feels limited, smearing micro-contrast and transient attack. Soft details are smoothed into the background.
Soundstage B-
It pushes sound outward confidently while leaving height development as an unfinished idea. Height remains subtle but detectable.
Details C-
The presentation is fine for casual listening but leaves refinement on the table. There's some grain on quieter elements.
Imaging C-
Separation is good enough for casual listening yet misses audiophile precision. Depth remains limited but present.
Gaming C+
Fundamental left/right positioning with limited depth perception. Works for non-competitive gaming but lacks precision.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

C-
  • Uneven emphasis across the spectrum keeps the presentation unsettled and awkward. Acoustic instruments lose their natural body.

Average Technical Grade

E+
  • Instrument separation collapses instantly, burying nuances and leaving everything in a gray blur. Layered arrangements collapse into a messy haze.
Mids C+
Expect a competent midrange that keeps vocals grounded and instruments clear. Tone is acceptable across multiple genres.
Treble E+
Treble feels muted, reducing brilliance and sheen across tracks. Recordings lack their usual energy.
Dynamics D
Volume shifts feel constrained, so build-ups plateau before releasing. Build-ups plateau before resolving.
Soundstage C+
Decent spatial presentation with noticeable width and a modest step forward in depth perception. There's a mild sense of width to enjoy.
Gaming D-
Compromised imaging significantly impacts gameplay awareness. Directional cues often lack accuracy or consistency.
