Fun, cheap, well-tuned. And the kicker - the treble extension is absurd for the price! However, aesthetically they are a tragedy. In this price range, value prop is often increased in the form of great value accessories - the cable here is not widely usable, however, so no extra value here.

Very well tuned warm/bassy set. Not basshead like the Rosefinch, but still has good bass impact as well as upholding enough treble extension.

Amazing warm tonality with adequate techs for the bracket that turns into a ultra-budget nice alternative to the usual suspects.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

B-
  • Expect a friendly tonal balance that could use polish but remains inviting. Great for casual listening, less so for purists.

Average Technical Grade

C
  • Details smear quickly, leaving the presentation cramped and low on definition. You'll notice smearing on even moderately layered songs.
Bass C-
The bass remains polite, offering definition without much drive. Dynamics remain gentle even at higher volume.
Mids D
Tonal balance in the mids is erratic, with certain notes leaping out unnaturally. Certain notes leap out while others vanish.
Treble C-
Treble is adequate overall, though its texture can feel coarse. Longer sessions may expose grain.
Details D
Information density overwhelms it quickly, so finer layers fade beneath the surface. Intricate passages blur when pushed.
Imaging D
Modest imaging with basic left/right positioning that never quite nails the center image. Left/right cues exist but are rough.
Gaming C
Minimal environmental definition provides only general audio cues. Suitable for games where positioning isn't critical.
