• Jays Audio: Inoffensive safe tuning, less fatiguing uppermids good for jpop/kpop. Vocals lack the last bit of extension, detail, and power. DSP APP is a shit show. Heavy competition from Nova, Cincotres, Hype 4.
• Gizaudio Axel: Excellent tuning and a highly detailed, all-around performer.  Great bass quality, rich vocals, balanced tonality, sparkly treble, and excellent resolution.  I prefer more bass.

• Crin: More faithful to the Harman target compared to the A8, with a smoother bass response.

• Precogvision: Excellent treble extension and detail retrieval.

• Nymz: Bad timbre, coherency and bass texture, but great resolving power and stage for price bracket. Tuning is a hair too bright for me but very balanced nonetheless with great mids.

Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk

• Jays Audio: Great resolution and separation. Vocals can sound recessed/thin, and is sibilant at higher volumes. Uneven and grainy treble. Clinical, thin, and not as musical as others sets.
• Tim Tuned: Pros: Very well tuned with great bass responsse.
• Smirk Audio: Great midrange with a natural timbre. Could use better bass and treble quality/extension. Mids may be too forward for some.

• Gizaudio Axel: Open-back IEM with a mellow sound. Good for long listening but not for those seeking strong bass or high resolution.  Warm, full-bodied mids with natural timbre and safe treble.  Light bass with low sub-bass, lacking treble air and sparkle, and underwhelming detail.
• Jaytiss: Nice single DD, not a benchmark, but very nice.
• Precogvision: Sounds like it has metallic timbre. Percussino compression around 5kHz due to lack of treble extension and generally bad tuning.
• Super* Review: Sounds like an open-back IEM. It delivers on open design. Something to consider if you are looking for that.

Moondrop Aria 2

• Jays Audio: A more engaging Aria SE with more bass, air, and reverb. Feels too smoothed out with a hit in the texture. Bump in tech over the old one, but pricing is an issue vs EW200 and EW300
• Gizaudio Axel: A solid set.  Good bass with solid impact, slightly warm but full and clear vocals, and solid detail.  Could use more sub-bass and a more refined upper treble.
• Jaytiss: Nice package for the price.

Moondrop Kato

• Jays Audio: Good detail, clarity, and imaging, but can sound thin. Similar tuning as Hana, but I found Hana to have better note-weight and bass.
• Jaytiss: For $200, I'd probably recomend other iems. But it's solid.

• Crin: All rounder that comes the closest to the Harman Target.
• Precogvision: Harman target hitter with surprisingly poor bass for a DD. Get the Blessing 2 instead.

Moondrop Solis

• Crin: A good implementation of the EST drivers with Moondrop's signature tuning specialties.
• Precogvision: Very plasticky and thin transients. Not very impressive.

Moondrop Starfield

• Crin: A cheaper KXXS.
• Precogvision: See KXXS. Just slightly less upper-midrange.
• Tim Tuned:  Might be too relaxed
• Shuwa-T:  Well tuned, arguably the one who started the chifi wave of decent tuning

• Jays Audio: A more neutral version of the May with less bass and treble, very neutral sounding, inoffensive and boring, overpriced, many cheaper options with similar tuning and performance
• Gizaudio Axel: Good for customizable sound (EQ) and gaming.  Balanced tonality, with deep bass, forward vocals, clear treble.  Overall detail.
• Super* Review: When People ask me for the best IEM for gaming, I would probably point them to these.
• Fresh Reviews: Borders B (Val) - Borders C+ (COD)

Moondrop KXXX

• Precogvision: See KXXS. Just slightly bassier.

Moondrop Starfield 2

• Jays Audio: Bright harman/DF, great detail, but a bit sharp and shrill
• Jaytiss: It's just not great, but some might like it.

• Jays Audio: Another harman-ish tuning. Similar to Tanchjim One but not as smooth.

Moondrop Sparks

• Crin: A tad too shouty and lacking low-level detail, but nothing too egregious as a whole.
• Precogvision: Solid tonal balance and great bass for a TWS.
• Shuwa-T: Comment: Bass and treble focused.  Good tonality with moondrop house sound  Bass bloom, subpar imaging and soundstage

Moondrop Dark Saber

• Jaytiss: It has it's moments, but it is a massive please demo first style iem.
• Precogvision: Basically the Moondrop S8 with a dynamic driver for the bass. Negatively affects the coherency of the presentation.

• Jays Audio: Super clean with great clarity. A better tuned Variations without the tech. Pinnacle of harman tuning. Although mid-bass scoop can affect some libraries.
• Tim Tuned:  Very well-tuned, natural timbre  mushy details, noise floor, USB-C

Moondrop Aria

• Crin: A cheaper Starfield.
• Precogvision: See KXXS. Just slightly less upper-midrange and more bass.
• Tim Tuned:  Pleasing neutral tuning with impressive wide stage
• Shuwa-T: Comment: Starfield with less technical performance but better build quality.  Well tuned with no jarring issues  Clarity Clarity
• Nymz: Nothing wrong, nothing good as well. I'd rather buy other stuff around this price that perform much better, like Olina or Titan S. Over-hyped.

• Crin: An extremely well-tuned neutral IEM with a slightly bright and metallic tilt.
• Precogvision: A bit uninspired at this point, but no less a solid listen.
• Tim Tuned:  Very well tuned and natural  Treble uneveness
• Shuwa-T: Comment: Moondrop's best budget IEM.  Neutral bright tuning, decent clarity at this price  Technical performance in the absolute sense without price considered, gritty treble
• Nymz: Beaten by Salnotes Zero for my library. Good tuning, medriocre techs, but throwing punches up to 100$. Hard to fault. Cable is bad but workable.

Moondrop Illumination

• Crin: Well-tuned with natural timbre, ultimately marred by subpar detail retrieval and definition.
• Precogvision: Mushy transients and imaging, basically par with their other single DDs for techniclaities.

Moondrop Spaceship

• Crin: Shouty with a slight warm tilt as a counterbalance. Not the worst DF-ish IEM out there.
• Precogvision: Slightly more balanced than the Quarks in the midrange, but not by much.

Moondrop Alice

• Tim Tuned:  Lively vocals and balanced tuning  Poor User Experience....
• Shuwa-T:  Tuned well for TWS with decent clarity

Moondrop SSR

• Crin: Probably as close as one can get to "true DF", though it's extremely shouty as a result.
• Precogvision: Shouty thanks to 13dB of pinna compensation, but excellent note definition and imaging for the price.
• Shuwa-T:  Overly spicy upper midrange and treble
• Nymz: Shoutfest and too much energy uptop for my likes, but good bass and technicalities for the price.

Moondrop SSP

• Crin: Extra bass on top of the SSR does help it a little, but also results in a more hollow presentation.
• Jaytiss: Very tiny. Good for sleeping with at night, maybe not as a daily driver.
• Precogvision: See SSR. Just more bass.

Moondrop Quarks

• Precogvision: Sounds fairly open. Pinna compensation and transition to treble region needs work.
• Shuwa-T: Comment: Costs next to nothing.  Everything else

Moondrop Nekocake

• Shuwa-T: Comment: Decent midrange and vocals.  Price for ANC TWS unit that isn't bass boosted  Technical performance is subpar
