• Precogvision: Very well-rounded, but sounds overly plasticky and artificial.
• Tim Tuned:  Unrivaled Resolution  Can be fatiguing
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: You'll hear more sounds than intended. Comment: Sounds like a DD iem but with the clarity and speed of BA; unrivalled clarity.
• Nymz: Lovely tonality with incredible technicalities that scream details everywhere. Sinning only on female vocal position and BA timbre. Hits my HRTF like I like to hit my credit card.

• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Extremely well tuned. Weaknesses: Treble extension. Comment: Less bass than expected for DD bass.
• Nymz: Bad timbre, coherency and bass texture, but great resolving power and stage for price bracket. Tuning is a hair too bright for me but very balanced nonetheless with great mids.

Dunu SA6

• Crin: Tonality reminiscent of the Anole VX, though not up to the same level of technicalities.
• Precogvision: Slightly "wet" characteristic that takes the edge off of the qdc-inspired tuning. Very pleasant on the ears.

• Nymz: Well tuned top to bottom only missing the last inch of extension. Bass has its quirks but a solid pick nonetheless and a great benchmark at its price.

Etymotic ER4XR

• Crin: A more mainstream tuning of the ER4S/SR with slightly boosted bass.
• Precogvision: So. Darn. Boring. But yes, it's the BA benchmark.

Symphonium Triton

• Precogvision: Pleasing tonal balance and coherency, but not the last word in detail, especially relative to the Helios.
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: The more musical one versus the Helios. Weaknesses: Cutbacks in clarity, a little too smooth sounding.

BGVP DM8

• Precogvision: A bit wonky on paper, but nothing to really complain about in practice.

Pears SH3

• Crin: Great detail pickup and solid all-rounder, perhaps a little strident.
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Solid tuning overall with Japanese-level reference bass. Weaknesses: Not the most realistic soundstage, can sound harsh at times with female vocals.

Letshuoer DZ4

• Precogvision: Good tonal balance and technicalities, but decay is truncated which results in etched timbre. Dynamics are also dull.
• Nymz: Metalic timbre with fast decay. A little more enphasis around 4.5k than I would like, but overall pleasent tuning. Very technical, just lacking some dynamics and treble refinement.

Truthear Hexa

• Jays Audio: Foam helps tame uppermids/treble. Amazing detail for price and new benchmark below $100. Better tuned "softer" Dusk with slighlty less accurate imaging. Note-weight can be light.
• Gizaudio Axel: Unique neutral-bright sound signature, but overall feels a little unengaging.  Clean, clear vocals with decent detail.  Bass quality and impact, mids can feel lean, and treble can get a bit bright.

• Jaytiss: Legendary iem. But I can't even.
• Precogvision: Controlled bass and darker treble. Narrow imaging, but solid technicalities for a single DD.
• Tim Tuned:  Great detail and solid tuning  Intrusive fit
• Nymz: Sub-100usd king. Great for the price, punching above, but fit is a major problem - I use it with comply foams. Lacks stage depth due to fit. Hard to drive.

Final Audio B2

• Crin: Fairly normal "single BA tuning", but severely lacking in upper treble extension.
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Decent tuning. Weaknesses: Blunted notes, somewhat mediocre technical performance. Comment: The entry tier of the B series from Final.

Fiio FA1

• Crin: A pretty standard reference-style tuning that just works.

LETSHUOER x Gizaudio Galileo

• Jays Audio: Clean and neutral signature with empahsis in the midrange. Best vocals before Orch Lite $100-->Replaced by DZ4.
• Precogvision: Quite inoffensive but smoothed-over. Needs more resolution and sense of dynamics.
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Solid tuning, balanced throughout with slight emphasis on female vocals. Weaknesses: Treble rolls off prematurely. Comment: A poor man's Diva with worse technicalities and less extension.
• Nymz: Great tuning that follows along my preferences, but falls short in the last field of the treble region. A great value overall.

Thieaudio Legacy 2

• Precogvision: Pleasant tuning marred by low-level detailing and downwards compression.

• Jays Audio: Another one
• Jaytiss: It's a 40 dollar Chu.

• Crin: An extremely well-tuned neutral IEM with a slightly bright and metallic tilt.
• Precogvision: A bit uninspired at this point, but no less a solid listen.
• Tim Tuned:  Very well tuned and natural  Treble uneveness
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Neutral bright tuning, decent clarity at this price. Weaknesses: Technical performance in the absolute sense without price considered, gritty treble. Comment: Moondrop's best budget IEM.
• Nymz: Beaten by Salnotes Zero for my library. Good tuning, medriocre techs, but throwing punches up to 100$. Hard to fault. Cable is bad but workable.

Rose Br5 Mk2

• Crin: Not a bad IEM, though plagued by BA timbre. Not the most technical but it does the job when called for it.
• Shuwa-T: Weaknesses: Treble too spicy, BA timbre prominent. Comment: Known to have MMCX connector issues.

Moondrop Illumination

• Crin: Well-tuned with natural timbre, ultimately marred by subpar detail retrieval and definition.
• Precogvision: Mushy transients and imaging, basically par with their other single DDs for techniclaities.

YanYin Aladdin

• Precogvision: Pleasant tonal balance, but very dull dynamics.
• Nymz: A less technical Mangird Tea for 55$ less. Tuning is perfectly balanced (for darker/laiback preferences). Lacks some dynamics, losing to driver count.

Audiosense DT200

• Crin: Excellent tonality. Just excellent tuning overall.
• Jaytiss: Mid Focused set.
• Precogvision: Pleasant tuning but unremarkable detailing.
• Shuwa-T: Weaknesses: Mushy sounding, soundstage is pretty much non existent.

Canal Works CW-U77

• Precogvision: Heavy emphasis on lower-treble and lots of mid-bass lends to stereotypical farty and dry presentation.

Moondrop Alice

• Tim Tuned:  Lively vocals and balanced tuning  Poor User Experience....
• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Tuned well for TWS with decent clarity.

Moondrop Nekocake

• Shuwa-T: Strengths: Price for ANC TWS unit that isn't bass boosted. Weaknesses: Technical performance is subpar. Comment: Decent midrange and vocals.

Thieaudio Legacy 3

• Crin: Balanced tonality with a laid-back signature, nothing much to fault nor to praise.
• Precogvision: Pleasant tuning that's too dark for my preferences. Seems to have some QC issues.
• Shuwa-T: Weaknesses: Can sound muddy at times. Comment: Pretty much average.

KBear Neon

• Precogvision: Extremely limited resolution despite OK tuning.

QCY T5

• Crin: An odd take on a reference-style signature, but definitely not the worst attempt out there.
• Nymz: Very nice tuning for a cheap TWS. Lacks technology but sounds better than some budget IEMs on the market. Bass has elevation but is weak. Timbre is ok. Insane for the price on sale (I paid 10€).
